Casio AE1500WH-1AV
Whoa and holy cow! In this world of expensive timepieces, sometimes we just need a good basic watch at a sensible price like the Casio AE1500WH-1AV. After wearing a Garmin Tactix 7 for the summer, I realized that a large watch has its advantages in legibility but the case must be light and well balanced. But why not have a large legible watch that can be used while we work and play that we don’t have to worry about?  You know a watch that is nearly indestructible and one where the battery will last 10 years.
This Casio AE1500WH-1AV, fits the bill. It is extremely legible and costs less than a meal out at a nice restaurant! Check out these features…

A mostly full resin construction, with steel caseback, means the AE-1500 floats on the wrist – my scale measures right around two ounces all together. The practically nonexistent lugs are seamlessly integrated with the resin strap that shoots straight down, ensuring a compact 54.4mm lug-to-lug distance.
