The Volvo Ocean Race is a yacht race around the world, held every four years. It is considered to be the ultimate sailing adventure. In 2005-2006, ABN AMRO Bank entered two yachts in the Volvo Ocean Race and WON! The ABN AMRO yachts hold the historic distinction of TEAM ONE being the winner and TEAM TWO becoming the fastest mono-hull boat on the planet! On 11 January 2006, the ABN AMRO TWO covered 563 miles in 24 hours for a WORLD RECORD!
