At the time of the company’s inception, Meylan had already established himself as a meticulous watch engineer with uncompromising standards, a man who would settle for nothing less than absolute perfection. Unlike many watchmakers of his day, he understood both the technological potential of fine timepieces and the evolving demands of his marketplace, which enabled him to quickly establish Glycine as one of the leading Swiss timepiece providers.
