Whoa……recently discovered: an original Marathon Navigator watch with domed Lexan crystal!  Exclusive here at Windy City Watch Collector!

During a trip to the Marathon factory in April of this year, Mitchell Wein, President, of Marathon Watch, and I discovered a small cache of original Navigator cases in the factory warehouse in the basement ….the classic model with the integrated domed Lexan crystal.  These are the same type of Navigator watches issued to pilots during the early 2000s.

The original cases were used with new movements and dials and hand-assembled in La Chaux-de-Fonds.  These are essentially new production and come with Marathon’s 2-year warranty.

As some of you may know, the navigator class of wristwatches was developed in conjunction with Kelly Air Force Base in 1986, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of timekeeping technology.

Featuring a high-torque movement and an EOL (end-of-life) indicator, the Navigator is more than just a mere accessory. The watch measures 42x46mm (not including the crown) with a 20mm lug width (strap size).
