Though the brand technically started in 1882, it wasn’t until 1908 that Zodiac became the official name of the Le Locle, Switzerland-based watch company.
Originally known primarily for their innovative movements and pocket watch designs, Zodiac became a highly respected name within the sports and diving watch ranks in the ‘50s and ‘60s. This was mostly thanks to models like the iconic Sea Wolf, one of the first watches purpose-built for diving and other underwater pursuits, and which became favorites among early SCUBA divers and American soldiers in the Vietnam War.
In 2015, the brand decided to dig into their back catalog and re-release a new Super Sea Wolf collection as an homage to those early trailblazers.
