Each watch bears a unique serial number and is engraved with Marathon's historic ADANAC branding— embodying Canadian pride and resilience. During Marathon's history supplying Allied Forces, select government contracts included rigid restrictions that prohibited branding on timepieces. In a nod to our own heritage and to ensure wearers knew that their trusted timepiece was born right here in the North, Marathon included the word "ADANAC" on the dial of these watches— Canada spelled backward. Models featuring the unique ADANAC marking are exceptionally rare and are known now as coveted collector's items.
