The Marathon TSAR watch is a diver’s watch with a high torque, accurate Swiss quartz movement. Designed for use by Search and Rescue (SAR) divers and manufactured to meet ISO 6425 standards, the Marathon TSAR is a watch built to withstand the most extreme of conditions. The TSAR Marathon watch is currently used by NASA and the militaries of the United States, Israel and Germany and worn by troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The tritium dial ensures 24/7 self-illumination for up to 25 years.
The Marathon TSAR is high-quality quartz watch in a steel case is rated for 1000 foot submersion ( 30 ATM – 300 meters). Made from 316L surgical grade stainless steel, the Marathon TSAR is a purpose-built watch that will not let you down no matter what adventure you may take. It is available with a US Government signed dial or without government markings on the dial. The steel back has full military markings on both versions. The standard model is supplied with a black Swiss made 20mm military natural rubber strap.

The TSAR is handmade in La Chaux de Fonds Switzerland to guarantee the highest level of quality and accuracy in manufacturing. Inside the TSAR is a Swiss made, 3 jewel ETA F06 high torque quartz movement with EOL (End-of-Life) indicator. The TSAR guarantees you a reliable and accurate timekeeping experience. The TSAR uses self-contained Tritium gas tubes to ensure constant visibility in low light situations, a gas tube is placed on each hour marker and hands and uses MaraGlo for the 12-hour bezel marker. Tritium tubes are self-illuminating gas tubes which contain an isotope of hydrogen, meaning they will not dull down in brightness like normal photo-luminescent paint which requires an external light source to create a glow. The crystal is sapphire – 2.8mm thick x 30.50mm diameter. The 316L stainless steel case is approximately 46.0mm in diameter. The unidirectional 120 click bezel diameter is 41.10mm and the case height is 13.85mm. Screw down crown is deep knurled. The total weight of the watch head is 93.1 grams.
