OBIE3 from Oberlin Watch Company

The OBIE3 is the third series from Oberlin Watch Company comprises 100 pieces.

The OBIE3 has a stainless-steel body (case) and measures 40 mm across. It is finished with a padded leather strap with quick release feature to make changing it a snap.  The back of the case features a handsome map of the State of Ohio with the location of Oberlin along with the GPS coordinates.

The crystal (sometimes called the “lens”) is K1, which is sometimes referred to as sapphlex. It is designed to be extra hard and resistant to scratches and breakage.

It is rated to be water-resistant to 10 ATM (330 feet).  This means that you can get it wet, but it is not for designed for continuous water immersion.  Should you require a watch for water sports and diving, you should consider a dive-rated watch such as the Marathon TSAR as example.

The watch is powered by a quartz movement (the Citizen 2035) with a battery life of 2.5 – 3 years.  The OBIE3 is warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for 1 year.
